Having called a hiatus on long term indie band Bombay Bicycle Club, bassist Ed Nash has thrown himself fully into his new solo project Toothless. Not wanting to burn all bridges though, he has enlisted some old friends for new single 'Palm's Backside' in the form of previous band mate Jack Steadman who takes on role as producer) and the aurally stunning Marika Hackman on accompanying vocals. Although a branch off into a new direction, this track won't alienate old Bombay fans with its shimmering guitars and hazy hooks. A glistening love song filled with surreal metaphors, Toothless actually has some bite. - SJ
